Event Overview

In order to raise awareness of the importance of university’s de-carbonization, the seminar as to "100% renewable energy university" will be held.

In this seminar, the progress and the achievement of '100% renewable energy university campaign' will be reported. This campaign has done several things, for instance; questionnaire survey to all universities in Kansai area; interview survey to advanced cases more like Chiba University of Commerce and The State University of New York at Buffalo. Next March, the report conference of this campaign is supposed to be held at Ryukoku University.

Further, the seminar will have groupwork that participants of the seminar discuss how to make universities that they relate 100% renewable energy university.

Event Summary

First, we compared climate policies between Japan and other countries. Next, we talked about the movement as to Renewable Energy 100% among Japan's Universities, based on results of the questionnaire survey. After the presentation, we and participants discussed.
