Organizer

Seminar abstract
The IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report announced by the Working Group III stated that while there are still options available to reach the 1.5 ° C target, immediate mitigation measures across all sectors are essential to achieving it. Even during periods of global energy crises, climate action must not be allowed to take a back seat. At this event, various members of the Japan Climate Change Initiative (JCI), a coalition of Japanese non-state actors, will share their efforts to achieve the 1.5 ° C target, and discuss on the path to net zero from the perspective of each sector.
