Innovation for Cool Earth Forum (ICEF) is aimed at addressing climate change through innovation, and ICEF will facilitate discussions on what innovative measures should be developed, how the innovation should be promoted, and how cooperation should be enhanced among the stakeholders.

This workshop has been annually organised by MOEJ to facilitate an active exchange of views and ideas among researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders in India and Japan. This year marks the 14th workshop, and the discussion will evolve around the latest update of the climate policy in India and Japan, the visions and the pathway to reach the targets, and the ratchet-up mechanism to raise the domestic ambition etc., with a view to develop inputs to the Talanoa Dialogue.

The ‘EU for Talanoa’ conference is organised by the European Commission on 13 June 2018 as part of the EU’s contribution to the Talanoa Dialogue, an international process to take stock of the collective and individual efforts towards the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate change.
