How can businesses accelerate the zero carbon transition in Japan?
Organizer
Japan Climate Leaders’ Partnership
Seminar abstract
The zero-carbon transition has now shifted from the initial phase of making net-zero commitments to the second phase of implementation, and so have the expectations for corporate climate action. To fulfill their commitments, businesses need to deliver an effective and credible emissions reduction plan and report the progress in a transparent manner. There are also growing hopes and opportunities for businesses to go beyond their scope 1 -3 and contribute to the acceleration of the economy-wide transition.
In this seminar, corporate executives of both Japanese and foreign companies will gather to share their latest initiatives and discuss challenges and possible solutions.
