Event Summary
Mr. Harada, Minister of the Environment, Japan, and representatives from JCM’s partner countries participated in this event.
At the event, Mr. Harada welcomed that more than 130 projects in 17 counties have been implemented, and these projects have made real impacts in each country by reducing the GHG emissions and generating sustainable development co-benefits. Based on the good relationships we have built so far, Japan would like to realize “co-innovation” through the JCM, in which we will work together and create a market for decarbonization products, services and technologies that reflect each country’s challenges and needs, thereby transforming our social economic system.
