Activities to realize Zero Emission Communities

Panasonic proposes a "Community integrated energy decentralized system" that we envision in around 2030.

In the factory area, a Factory Energy Management System (FEMS) is introduced to optimize energy utilization. With the remaining electricity, hydrogen is produced. The produced hydrogen is utilized in both factory and homes nearby.

On the other hand, in the residential area, a zero-energy house with renewable energy flexibly utilizes electricity stored in an EV.

Respective areas are connected each other with electricity power networks and hydrogen line. Therefore, energy balance in the whole community is optimized based on the estimation of energy demand and supply.

Panasonic aims to realize such society.
