• What it is

  Chiyoda Corporation has made it remarkably easy to transport hydrogen as liquid at ambient temperature and pressure. This liquid was named "SPERA Hydrogen®"

• What it does

  SPERA Hydrogen® can be stored and transported by using an existing oil infrastructure such as tank, tanker and tank truck since it is classified in the same material category as petroleum gasoline fraction.
  This minimizes the cost of introducing and distributing the technology and system for hydrogen society construction.

• What is innovative about it

  In 2020, the world's first hydrogen supply chain bringing hydrogen at ambient temperature and pressure from Brunei Darussalam to Kawasaki-city, Japan will be started.
  In the future, SPERA Hydrogen® will be able to be used in a variety of applications for power plants, hydrogen refueling station, distributed cogeneration. This will contribute to prevention of global warming.
