Currently, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), operates 6 global observation satellites. Leveraging its advantage of being able to observe almost whole globe uniformly, satellites contribute to climate change countermeasures around the world by providing continuous observation data as scientific evidence such as greenhouse gases, forest/mangrove, precipitation, and sea ice extent.
