Creating a Safe and Secure Society with Clean Energy

Come to the Japan Pavilion to check out the progress we are making to develop environmental technologies for energy creation, energy conservation, energy storage and energy management. We use projection mapping so you can see how we can become a zero-carbon society.

Here you can see three pure hydrogen fuel cell batteries each with an output of 5kW, which we installed at the Yume Solar House Yamanashi in Komekurayama, Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture in June 2018. Hydrogen is produced by the electrolysis of water with clean electricity generated from photovoltaic cells, which is then used to run the fuel cell batteries. This demonstration experiment aims to verify reliability and efficient operational control to meet variable power demands. We are making every effort to improve the function of pure hydrogen fuel cells, contributing to the creation of a society where people can live safely with clean energy.
